Oh my gosh, there's just so much I can say about the movie. Good and bad. x3

I really haven't laughed that hard at a movie in a long time. The humor was something that really brought it to life and made it just that much better. Not to mention that the film had to have some humor to balance out the sadness. It was so depressing! Just... a lot of the things about the story line were pretty saddening, especially the ending. But, regardless of the sad aspects, the characters were very unique and I love the way they made them look so much more realistic. I just wanted to huggle Carol.

Another part of the film that I found to be interesting was the psychological side to it. I mean, you could see that there was a lot of child psychology put into Max and the way he acted because of his family environment and such; but also in the "Wild Things." The little sidebar tangents and arguments they would get into really portrayed child behavior well - especially the temperament and actions that they had. I dunno, I just thought it was pretty neat!

Not to mention that Max was so cute that I want to kidnap him...

Aaaanyway... lol yeah, that's my rant on the movie. xD I loved the book as a child and I think that they did a pretty decent job of "modernizing" it as a film.
