Today we hauled in a new horse from Golden Gate Fields Racetrack. He's a 3-year-old Thoroughbred and he's as cute as can be.

He didn't cut it as a racehorse because he had trouble jumping out of the gate as fast as the other horses do, so his owner (one of our good friends) decided to spare him the miserable life he would have had and take him off the track. He wouldn't of lasted long there. So my dad took his father over to the track to look at him, and he decided that he would take the horse. So now the horse, who I've started calling Bud, is staying at our house until my grandpa can find a good home for him. I'll post pictures that I just took soon.

I'm trying to stay away from him because I don't want to get too happy with him being here, because then I know I won't want to let him go.

But it's so hard! I fall for horses so easily. x3
It was really funny in the beginning, because the horse wouldn't go to anyone after we put him in the corral. He ran from my dad, his dad, and my brother, but when I got in there, he freakin' followed me around the pen.
So yeah, that's just the update for today. Tucker's getting pretty jealous of all the attention going to the new guy. ;D
