Here is her gorgeous mustang stallion, Hok'ee. I really had fun drawing him, but sadly I'm not that happy with his coloring. I think it looks a little too generic. :( I know that I made plenty of anatomy flaws, so please be easy on me. ^^; And sorry about not including his dapples, Ori! I totally forgot he had them until I finished coloring him. >____>

I know, boring background is boring. D: That's because I'm totally smart enough to figure out how to layer things properly. .____.

I just looooove the way that you color and tone the muscles~ They are sooo beautiful <3 I don't think he looks that all generic; maybe if you spruced up the bg just a bit more he'd look not so generic to you? I think he looks wonderful~ I wish I had a horse character, I'd commission you to draw him in a second! <3333

I think you're right about the background subtracting from him. I just...
don't know how to really use layers to the point that it works. I tried to
add a background, but when I tried to blend on the layer for his coat, it erased
the background and wouldn't blend his coat colors. :( I'm sure it's very simple
but I'm just so smart that I can't figure it out. :slow:

Oh, well you'll figure it out eventually dear; it's very hard to grasp how to use layers..I'm still pretty lost .3. but it's all about trial and error, trial and error! <3
