We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it. Each day we will feature 5 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article. In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you  the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. Nargh. Short comment because I need to start meh homework. xD;
OK, the muscle work is very nice, very accurate. BUT, the parts on the dog's midsection (the shaded parts) are too dark in comparison to the rest of the body. Big no-no.
So yeah, I suggest shading with an 0.7 lead pencil for th shaded base, and then going to the darker areas with an 0.5 lead pencil.
Pencil shading is fun, accurate, and easy.
